Evaluate the potential your business has for SEO.
There has been times when I was just starting out in SEO I felt so strongly about a businesses online marketability that with out being paid any money upfront I will proceed to create them a website just to complete with there current site. Two month later I would show up at their business and show them my statistics and let them know why they were getting this unusual influx of online business. Soon after that I would send them a monthly bill, which they always gladly paid!
Evaluating a business is the first step in search engine optimization. I look at what your business offers and proceed to find out how many people in your business region are looking for your business on major search engines. Once I have these numbers I can give you a good indication whether or not this will be a profitable venture for you and me. It’s important to remember if this doesn’t work for you then I won’t get paid, and therefore it is reasonable to say that I’m invested as much as you are. I will also look for other ways we can market your company. For example if your business is really unique I will look for places on the Internet that relate to you and place you there for indirect exposure. SEO isn’t for every business, but it’s worth finding out if it is something that fits with what you do. Lots of times companies don’t think of the Internet as a good marketing tool when the fact is the number two marketing tool for all small business just behind television advertising.

Building a website that is user friendly and most importantly can be found online.
In most cases I will build your business a website from scratch. I don’t charge extra for this process mainly due to the fact that it isn’t fair to you if you’ve already paid for a website from another designer. The reason I usually insist on having my own web design is because then I can have a blank canvas to create a well-oiled Vancouver SEO machine. I usually try and encourage a three-month trial period to allow the search engines to find your site, and then gradually rank you hopefully closer and closer to the first page. I also implement a marketing strategy which will tell use how the website is converting from users logging on to the site, and then how many of those users are actually spending money with your company (conversion ratio). In the case of Sugarrays boxing club as we see above in the example I structured his online marketing strategy in the form of a promotional code. Therefore it acts as bait and lure to potential clients. In this scenario in Sugarrays description when found on Google mentions a %15 off boxing gloves if you visit the site. Once inside the site the user is required to click a promotional code, which I track how many time has been accessed. This marketing strategy baits people into the site, and once there inside they can obtain their coupon which acts as incentive to come into the boxing club and sign up. By tracking this promotion and comparing it with how many times it is used Sugarrays owner can have an exact understanding of the business generated by his website, and therefore see the value in what I do!
